Doulton Edward VII Coronation Teapot with Lid and Silver Trim, 1902
This English teapot was made to honor the coronation of Edward VII and Alexandra as King and Queen of England in 1902. Their busts in silhouette are featured on either side of the teapot, done in glossy blue, green, and brown glazes. The tip of the spout and the rim of the teapot are rimmed in sterling silver, with the English silver hallmarks appearing on the lip of the teapot (see photo). The underside is marked with the impressed stamp "Doulton Lambeth England", "1278", "a", and the artists initials, "yj".

Condition: Excellent; no damage or repairs.
