Doulton Edward VII Coronation Tobacco Jar with Lid, 1902

This tobacco jar with lid was made to commemorate to coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in 1902. It shows the profiles in relief of the King and Queen, separated from each other by a decorative floral motif. The lid and jar have a glossy blue, green and brown glaze. Signed on the base with the "Doulton Lambeth England" stamp, "ce", "1279", "ME" signed by hand.

Condition: Excellent; no damage or repairs.
