Martin Brothers Jug with Writing and Sea Creatures, c. 1900

A brown and beige glazed jug with handle has the sentence "Welcome my friende Drinke with A noble hearte" etched in two lines. Around the phrase are two large grotesque sea creatures with teeth and several smaller jellyfish.

Inscribed on base "Martin Bro / London & Southall"

9" (22.86 cm) high; 5 1/4" (13.33 cm) at widest diameter

Excellent condition: no damage or repairs.
